January Wrap

Wow. 2019 is off with a total bang (in the best way). We are seriously only 30 days in and have had a jam-packed month.

Only Orchids taught us saying F%$!ing Thank You is Crucial.

Did you catch the January Meet-up? Local Charity Group, Only Orchids, brought their team for an energy-filled run down of how positive attitudes and intent can translate positive actions in the community.

Met up with a beat.

For the first time ever, we filled the silence with the smooth melodies of California-based singer and songwriter, Julia Naman. Before and after the presentation, she soothed us with her gentle ballads and impressive loop skills.

Got our geek on, twice.

You know, we cherish the collaborative efforts of our comrades. It truly is the root system of innovation and community growth. This month, we had TWO groups sprout from meet-ups and we are SO. STOKED.

Geek Group had their first meeting with the intention to learn about fellow geeks and geek-out on a stellar piece of tech, the Raspberry Pi.

Havasu Photography Group also had their first meet-up in which they introduced the goals of the group and had two presentations from local professional photographers.

Copper Still showed us the good stuff.

Comrades on Tour debuted this month, and our first spot was rad. We checked out the newly opened Copper Still. This distillery is locally owned and operated creating small-batch vodka and moonshine. Tour guests had the chance to be up-and-close with the equipment and the meet the hands that make the drink themselves.

Well, there you have it. This month is only the beginning of a solid year of collaboration, creativity, and FUN! To many more~~
